An 'Open Access' intaglio/relief printmaking facility just off Oxford Street in Whitstable, Kent. Experienced printmakers can access equipment and materials through open access bookings. Artists, new to printmaking, can try out various classes or opt for one-to-one instruction. You can see examples of some of my work here and also examples of other artists work, produced using the Saxonshorepress facilities.

SEOS Open Studio Event

Come and visit the SaxonShorePress studio during the South East Open Studios event, Friday 1st of June to Sunday 17th June. Steve will be at the studio, every day demonstrating various printmaking techniques. You are very welcome to drop in, have some refreshments and just chat to him as he works. On view will be examples of work produced by students on some of the courses run at the studio as well as Steve's own lovely drawings, prints and cards. Look forward to seeing you!

Etching Experience Day

Come and spend a fun and creative day at the seaside!

Groups of up to 6 adults can book a day’s print making tuition in a local artist’s studio just off Oxford Street. Learn how to draw an image onto a metal plate, etch it using a safe non-toxic method and make your own unique prints. Contact Steve for a booking. All equipment and materials provided. 10.00am-5.00pm, £40 per person.
